As part of the Summer of AI, you will work on developing AI solutions and solving the challenge leading Dutch organisations have provided. You will have the opportunity to break into the AI field during your summer break over a period of 8 weeks. You will work alongside a data science team at one of the participating companies. When applying, you can state the case you prefer to work on. The organisation will try and accommodate this preference or offer an alternative.

During the Summer of AI, the participating companies will provide mentors that will be available for questions and help you out with the challenge. You'll receive additional mentoring from some of the innovation design, data-science, data-engineering and software engineering specialists at DEUS. Check out the past event.

The program gives you a great opportunity to gain practical experience with AI, learn from AI experts in the field and to create the industry connections that will help you transition to AI specialist or entrepreneur in the future.

Accepted participants work together with the company and experts on their challenge during the summer break (Jul-Aug). During the summer, we'll have three live events where you can follow a workshop and presentations, and get together with all the other participating students.

At the end of the summer, all teams present their case to the rest of the participants and organisations!
